We were originally founded by Loren M. Day who continues to serve as
company president and broker in charge. Loren originally studied history and
philosophy at the University of KY, then transferred to the College of Charleston
and graduated in 2004 with a degree in Religious Studies. Several years in the
hospitality and fine dining management industry had already provided him the
experience necessary for meeting the needs of a wide variety of clients. After
graduation, his desire to help others eventually guided him to obtain an
insurance producer license. Over the next three years he marketed these
services and gained an expertise in the individual medical insurance market.
In December 2007 success had earned Loren a position as district manager
with multiple carriers. Marketing then began under the name New Day Health
Plans. By late 2008, the business had expanded into a multi-broker agency
offering Life, Health, and Supplemental Insurance in both individual and
employer group markets. In 2011 the company name was changed to New
Day Insurance Solutions to more appropriately represent the extensive range
of products and services offered.
